The city is calling. It is yelling and begging for changes. City has offered a perfect location, beside to main connections. The idea was to create a quality public space, to invite citizens, investors and tourists, to see new dominant point of city Celje.

 

We create a building with 15. floors (57 m tall). One of the tasks was to offer business spaces to local companies, but, for us, most important challenge was to connect old part of city with new, modern. Interference was big, because the object is in use with almost all the available location and with his height is determining new local domination. Object, called Triangle (name is after his triangular shape) is offering home to companies, hotel, restaurant at the top of the building, theatre and city hall. Where passage through the building is, there is fractured surfaces above and it is clearly shows the way. Façade is ventilated, made by perforated steel and glass, which is inserted into plates of steel. Plates are creating a coat around the building and it ends at the top, where is contact with the roof. This is how we get a white (roof, walls) – black (façade) contrast and it is clearly shows a difference between. Urbanism is simple planned, with green areas and benches. Mass or, If we may say, strange form is the biggest attribute, offering something new, amazing and it is clearly visible that something new is arrived. Something new what Celje is desperately need.
